What Oils are good for My Natural Hair?

Over the weekend I got this question and although I have not straightened my entire head as of yet. I have experimented quite a bit so what I say is accurate. I am really impressed with my hair, not to long ago I was so very frustrate with its progress. It is growing but we all have those days.

There are a number of oils you can use to protect your hair against heat.

So What do Heat protectants do?

They help lubricate strands of your hair which helps reduce friction caused by styling tools such as flatirons and blowdryers. They manage to keep your hair manageable and your ends in tact.

Here are some examples

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of the best natural nutrition for hair. It helps in healthy growth of hair providing them a shiny complexion. Regular massage of the head with coconut oil ensures that your scalp is free of dandruff, lice, and lice eggs, even if your scalp is dry. It is an excellent conditioner and helps in the re-growth of damaged hair. It also provides the essential proteins required for nourishing damaged hair. Coconut oil is normally applied topically for hair care.

Grapeseed Oil
is a popular because it is odorless and full of minerals and vitamins that can help strengthen your hair. It can also help add shine and moisture to your hair. Known for having a high content of linoelic acid, an important fatty acid that supports cell health.

Jojoba Oil
is useful for the hair because it closely resembles the hair's natural oil called sebum. Click here for more on these oils. The oil can be used by itself as a hot oil treatment, or mixed with a different  carrier oil for a specialized conditioning treatment.m
