Co-Washing

CO- WASH

Simply said co-washing is washing your hair with conditioner. This method will elminate the harsh results of washing your hair with shampoo frequently, which strips the hair of it's oils and moisture. I found that using this method has help to keep my hair soft and manageable. CO washing can be done as often as you like, this will help take away build-up but wont strip your hair.

A good condition, natural base products is what works best for me. Find one the works well with your hair. However do get to know your ingredients, do research on what to use or avoid.

Always remember to rinse your hair with warm water, hot water will damage your hair. While conditioning simply comb your hair with your fingers, do the same when you rinse. You can also choose to allow the conditioner to sit on your hair for the time stated. Make sure to thoroughly remove any conditioner left in the hair.

I have found that if you apply my product to my hair after I co-wash helps keep my hair looking healthy, because it is more manageable after cowashing my products are evenly distributed. Once your products is on you can begin to dry your hair. My best choise is air dry or towel dry. I DO NOT USE BLOW DRYERS ON MY HAIR, A PERSONAL CHOICE, HOWEVER SOME MAY CHOOSE TO USE IT CAREFULLY TO THEIR HAIR.

1) Wet hair

2) Put conditioner on

3) let conditioner sit on hair for 3-5 mins

4) rinse hair using fingers

5) apply your products while hair is wet for even distribution

6) you can repeat step 3 and 4 or just dry you hair as you choose, be gentle

7) Style your hair and your ready to go!!!

Remember to love your hair, treat your hair like a delicate flower and it will flourish!!!

LOVE, PEACE AND NATURAL HAIR!!
